They are completely unprofessional, charge you $10 to transfer a domain name, and give absolutely no customer service. I would suggest people NOT use this service AT ALL, unless they are happy to hand out cash to an uncaring organisation that has no idea on how to treat people. They don't try to trick you into staying with them or adding little charges at every turn. Doteasy was fine when i was just running a simple HTML site with a few extras with "free hosting" at $45/2 years. It was fine with slow customer service response, but hey, i wasn't paying much. Well, i went to transfer the domain to the new registrar right after receiving a renewal notice, and doteasy put up all these barriers, locking the domain without my knowledge or consent and allowing it to expire before they replied to my support requests, saying, "there's nothing we can do now, it expired, you need to renew it with us (pay $25 min.) or let it go blank for 40+ days before registering with your new provider, taking a chance someone else would snatch it up."! I am still in shock at their deceptive business practices and unwillingness to make adjustments for mistakes they made.
